When I am saving an edited page, the browser (IE6.0) tries to open http://localhost:82/SubmitPage, but can't find it.
I've been adding entries to the InterWiki.wkc file manually using MS Notepad, but when I go to use them on a page, it's as if the InterWiki entries don't exist.
I don't seem to be able to change the users.wkc

Q: How can I change (some) settings, such as line-breaks?

You can change that by editing the options, one of which is linebreaks, in config.wkc (to enable/disable change 1 in 0 or vice versa: 1 enables, 0 disables the option).

Q: What exactly does the nowiki feature do?

The same as UseMod and other wikis - it passes the text between nowiki and /nowiki straight through to html.

Q: Can I limit access to certain pages on my wiki?

Yes; to do that, go to the LockPages.wkc and edit the file as indicated. You can also do that by entering as admin and changing the settings on LockPages

Q: How does one sign in as Administrator? The data in the User.wkc file doesn't get me in.

As a default you should have a user/password combination like "admin/password". You can change it manually as through the admin login page.

Q: When I am saving an edited page, the browser (IE6.0) tries to open http://localhost:82/SubmitPage, but can't find it. The edit succeeds however, and in fact does so nearly instantaneously (I've stopped the attempt to open the non-existent SubmitPage and checked RecentChanges immediately and the changes are there). What should I do?

You should edit the hostname in the basic configuration. You can reach it through the Admin Login menu. There is a hostname value there, which you have to change accordingly.

Q : I've been adding entries to the InterWiki.wkc file manually using MS Notepad, but when I go to use them on a page, it's as if the InterWiki entries don't exist. How comes?

Try editing the interwiki.wkc trough the admin login option. Editing of these files outside the wikiserver needs a restart to be able to see them.

Q : I don't seem to be able to change the users.wkc; every time I set a new password/login it gets set back at the default whenever I (re)run the wiki.?

Right - as noted in readme it writes out the users when you exit the server. So you should edit it then run the server - or change it through Preferences. It does not work when you change the users.wkc while the server is running.
